KLEIBERIT HotCoating® - Furniture Surfaces with Added Value

It takes the right surface to make a piece of furniture special. Not only is the appearance a decisive factor, the properties during subsequent processing and use are also important. One of the major advantages of finishing with HotCoating is the flexibility of the surface. It allows for the production of both curved furniture components and shaped furniture parts in the direct postforming process (Design-Edge) with the smallest radius, without stress-whitening. Combined with digital print, a seamless transition from surface to edge offers new possibilities in furniture design.

This is especially apparent in microscopic images. There is no stress-whitening or jagged edges. This plays a key role in the sensitive transition from surface to edge in order to ensure an optimal, high quality and secure edge.

In addition to outstanding surface quality, the panels are lightfast, highly resistant to scratches, impact, chemicals, moisture, cold, and varying climatic conditions, have the highest color precision and anti-fingerprint characteristics.

The differences in edge quality are apparent when comparing the microscopic images of a conventional finish (left) and a HotCoating surface (right)
